Review
Summary |
Just the name Sleepees makes us tired, because it surely invokes images of a sound and deep sleep, which is the value of a well chosen name, especially in the holistic sleep aid market. This market is choc full of products which are purported to be able to augment sleep, relax users and get them geared up for a sound nights sleep. However, not all sleep aids are built alike, and those who suffer from any level of sleeplessness need a product that can actually produce results. Let’s look at Sleepees to see if its formula is as sleep inducing as the name.

 | Ingredients at a Glance |
|
Sleepee’s contains: JuJue Date, Siberian Ginseng, Schisandra, Hops, Reishi Mushroom, Red Sage, Helicidum, and Mother-of-Pearl. We were rather troubled to note, while reviewing this formulary that there is no information posted on this website about the developer. Most of the more reputable sleep aid developers will post information regarding their experience and history in the holistic market. The fact that this information is missing makes us wonder if this is their first attempt at creating a sleep aid.

 | Ingredients in Focus |
|
Sleepees contains quite an array of herbal extracts, which would be great if the majority of them had a know ability to augment sleep, however, this is not the case. In fact only Hops has a consistent and proven track record of being able to help users get to sleep. Research studies have shown that it has the ability to significant increase relaxation and reduce tension, which has a direct affect on sleeplessness. Hops are usually used in tandem with Melatonin, which is not used in this formula, but Schisandra is used.
Schisandra has a history of being used to aid with cardiovascular conditions, liver problems and nervous system problems in traditional Chinese medicine. It does not have an extensive history as a sleep aid, and has not traditionally been used to alleviate this issue. The same can be said for Mother-of-Pearl, which has been used to energize the liver, as well as to help revitalize the skin. It is used in many extracts that address aging of the skin.
Also, while Siberian Ginseng and Reishi Mushroom are great immune boosters, and Siberian Ginseng is an energizing tonic, neither of these elements are able to induce sleep. Many of the choices that were made for this formulary are rather troubling, because they are not effective in terms of effectively inducing sleep in any way.

 | Lifestyle |
|
As we mentioned earlier, Sleepees does not use Melatonin which is one of the most effective sleep aids available on the market, an omission which we found to be rather perplexing. Many consumers may not know this, but Melatonin has an amazing ability to help users realign their sleep cycle. This is because Melatonin is already produced in the human body by the pineal gland to regulate the sleep/wake cycle. When Melatonin production is thrown off then wakefulness can ensue, however, supplementation with Melatonin has been shown to be able to get the sleep cycle back on track.

 | Final Thoughts |
|
Overall, we believe that this products name has a better chance of inducing sleep than the formulary it actually uses. Sleepees only saving grace is that it contains Hops, which we believe is a rather amazing sleep including herbal extract. However, the other elements in this formula are more effective in addressing other issues, which have little or nothing to do with insomnia or sleeplessness. So users of this formula may feel more “energized, have better skin tone, and cardiovascular functioning”, however, we doubt that the amount of sleep they will get at night will improve much.
Those consumers who are serious about addressing their sleep needs, may want to sleek out formulas that use Hops and Melatonin, which has been shown to be a rather serious team in this arena, because together they can address sleeplessness form different avenues-effectively, naturally and safely.
